FAQS

Are all your ingredients organic?

Currently, over 90% of all the ingredients we use are USDA and Oregon Tilth certified.

Are your ingredients cruelty-free?

Yes, each of our ingredients is cruelty-free.

Is your packaging earth-friendly?

Yes! Every element of your Sauca Botanicals shipment is either recyclable or compostable. From the cushioning and shipping materials to the reusable glass bottles themselves.

Can I send my bottle back to you?

Currently, we are unable to re-use bottles due to lacking proper sanitization equipment for legally accepting containers to be sanitized and refilled. We highly encourage recycling your bottle for another purpose or as you would any other glass bottle.

Do you have a refill program?

We are actively working to establish one, possibly at a local farmer’s market. Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter so you are notified as soon as it is available.

Can I use your products if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

According to the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy, none of the essential oils used in our products are contraindicated during pregnancy or breastfeeding. However, our Bug Repellent contains Pennyroyal Leaves, the oil of which is contraindicated for pregnancy and breastfeeding. Though we don't use its essential oil, we recommend avoiding this product when pregnant or nursing. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any products containing essential oils, especially during pregnancy and breastfeeding, to ensure safety for you and your baby.

Can I use your products on my baby?

We don't recommend using products containing essential oils or any scents on infants under 2 years old. Essential oils can be powerful and potentially irritating for the delicate skin of newborns and babies. As always, exercise discretion and consult your physician if you have any concerns.

What is the shelf life of your products?

The shelf life is 1-2 years. Be sure to store your Sauca Botanicals in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, to conserve their nutrients.
